Many underserved communities face a number of barriers in accessing healthcare today, including language, financial, immigration status, and transportation, commonly known as Social Determinants of Health. These communities also have a predisposition to chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension. Hoy Health exists to bridge the gap between hospitals, physicians, and other medical institutions and these traditionally underserved communities. Through telemedicine, remote patient monitoring, and access to affordable prescription medications, our multilingual digital platforms establish a continuum of care such that anyone, anywhere can access affordable, quality primary care solutions without the need for insurance.
By participating in the accelerator we gained access to world-class experts that validated some of our assumptions and theories in the healthcare space with Mayo, as well as in the business and technology spaces with ASU. This has been quite impactful for Hoy Health and allowed us to quickly confirm or negate assumptions, accelerating our time to market. Initiatives which previously could have taken us six months to a year to get into the hands of our consumers, we can now narrow down to two or three months, which for our start-up is an incredible opportunity for efficiencies and improvement.
"Participating in the ASU accelerator gave us an incredible opportunity to learn from industry experts, business leaders, and fellow peers which has had a dramatic and immediate effect on our business. From our innovation development and speed to market, to our operational efficiencies and process improvements, the accelerator has been a game changer for Hoy Health."
